Happy October! Here are key updates and a fun family/adult event next weekend…
GENERAL BOARD MEETING UPDATES-
Pool company update: We are going to change back to Sweetwater for pool maintenance/ lifeguards due to concerns with the lifeguards, specifically. Many attempts were made to align our needs with the lifeguard protocols, but we did not feel like we were being heard and/or our concerns were not communicated well from the company to their lifeguards. Our members were heard and the board agrees that this change is necessary.
Board updates:
Alan Burton is transitioning to President role.
John Blake is transitioning to Buildings/Grounds and will help out with the pool. *We are still looking for a pool chair.*
Membership update/Julie Hall:
We currently have 166 members in good standing. We had 35 families leave this year. We gained 30 new families!
