Congratulations to our Memorial Day tennis round robin winners!  Joel Bagley & Ann Porter won bragging rights as this year’s champions after a hard fought tie breaker over semi-finalists Joe McKenzie & Ben Grier.  Thank you to Mary Koerner for organizing the event.

Let the countdown to summer vacation begin! Make plans to celebrate Memorial Day with us, Monday May 28th. The festivities kick-off at 11:00 with our annual Pig Roast and cookout. This year we have a live band, Daybreaker, from noon-4:00 to liven things up. Sign-up sheets are at the pool now for those willing to help roast the pig and set up/clean up (workday credit opportunity). Family, friends and prospective members are welcome. Dust off your flip flops and mark your calendar.

There will be a Tennis Round Robin starting a 9am. The event is open to all ages and skill levels and will be a Doubles Format.

Don’t forget to tell your friends the value of a River Oak Swim and Racquet Club Membership. River Oak Swim and Racquet is a place to relax by the pool, play some tennis on the courts, or celebrate with friends. We have club sponsored social events on Memorial Day, the 4^th of July, and Labor Day. Food, spirits, sunshine, friends…we cover it all.

And don’t forget members receive a $100 credit for each new member they refer!

The River Oak Swim and Racquet Club Pool opened today for the summer swim season and is open to members and registered guests. Life Guards will be on duty and the diving boards will be reattached when the local schools begin summer break. In the mean time swim at your own risk. See you at the pool!

The first mandatory Member Work Day has been rescheduled and will be held on Saturday April 28th from 9am-12pm.  Come out and join your fellow members as we do a little Spring cleaning and get things ready for this years swim season!
