We need YOU!

Dear ROSRC Families,

We are in need of some volunteers to help us! Serving in one of the following capacities will count as a Work Day Credit. Currently, we are seeking members to fill the following vacancies:

  • Secretary (Attend 1 meeting per month and take minutes)
  • Social Chair (Attend 1 meeting per month and act as a liaison for summer parties)
  • Memorial Day Party Coordinator: FILLED
  • 4th of July Party Coordinator (With help of committee, oversee party)
  • Labor Day Party Coordinator (With help of committee, oversee party)

Please reply if you are able to help support our club with your service. Thank you so much!

Social Updates/RVSP soon for the Chili Cook-Off (2/10)

Dear ROSRC Members,
As you have heard, our club is striving to become a year round family gathering place. The First Annual Chili Cook-Off is next Sunday, February 10th, from 3:00-5:00 PM. The fun will occur at the residence of Kes Downs: 3186 River Oak Court. Please see the attached flier for details, and register or direct questions to Kes at 770-375-8725. All families are welcome to bring their favorite chili, side dish, or a dessert to share. 
Additionally, we still need a couple of enthusiastic individuals to complete our newly formed Social Committee.  We are seeking a Social Chairperson who can attend monthly Board meetings. This Chairperson will also coordinate with three other committee members to help facilitate parties on Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day. Please reply if you are interested in serving in one of these roles. (Service in this regard will count as your workday credit, and each committee member would coordinate only one of the summer parties.)
With your help, we can make 2019 a great year for family fun!

General Membership Meeting 10/14: We Need You!

Hi All,

Please mark your calendars for our upcoming General Membership Meeting on Sunday, October 14th at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at our pool pavilion.
There are 5 spots opening up on our Board. There are two individuals that are currently interested in a position, but we have more spots to fill.  We would love for you to consider nominating yourself (or a friend) for the following positions:
1. President
2. Vice President
3. Pool Chair
4. Tennis Chair
5. Building and Grounds
Each Board member’s contribution counts as a $50 work day credit. We could sure use some enthusiastic, interested, and involved individuals to help keep our pool a happy and safe place. Please reply with nominations!

Back to School Party-8/11 and “Pool of the Week”

Please join us for our annual Back to School Party on Saturday, August 11th from 12:30-2:30. There will be crafts for all ages and tie dye project fun! (Please bring your own item to tie dye.) We will also enjoy a delicious menu of pizza, chips, drinks, and “make your own” ice cream sandwiches. Hope to see you there to celebrate the first week of school!

Also, please take a minute to congratulate our head lifeguard and his staff. Positively Pools selected ROSRC as “Pool of the Week” for performing an excellent job ensuring the safety of our children and maintaining a clean pool. That’s fantastic!

New Pool Hours

Pool hours after school starts, August 6, 2018:

LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY-

MONDAY–FRIDAY:  4 PM – 8 PM

SATURDAY: 11 AM – 11 PM

SUNDAY:   NOON – 9 PM

DURING “NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY,” IT IS SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.  ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE 18, MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT MEMBER OVER 21.

DIVING BOARDS WILL BE CLOSED WEEKDAYS, UNTIL 4 PM, WHEN LIFEGUARDS COME ON DUTY. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

ROSRC: Annual Memorial Day Party is On!

The ROSRC board and social committee would like to invite you and your family to the 2018 Memorial Day Pig Roast and Tennis Round Robin on May 29th (Round Robin begins at 9).  As in years past, families and guests will be asked to bring a side dish to share.  BBQ, hot dogs, and hamburgers, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided by the club.  This event will be BYOB.
The club is unable to provide a DJ this year.  If you are interested in serving as DJ as your 4-hour work day credit, please reply to this email.  Other workday opportunities will be sent out via signup genius as the event gets closer.
