The first mandatory Member Work Day will be held on Saturday May 18th from 9am-12pm. Come out and join your fellow members as we do a little Spring cleaning and get things ready for this years swim season.
This is one of two mandatory Work Days for ROSRC members. Each member is responsible to attend one of these two work days. Members who choose not to participate will be charged a fee of $50.

Twenty players competed for cans of balls, Academy Sports gift cards and bragging rights in two flights at the River Oak S&R Labor Day Round Robin hosted by Joel Alsobrook. Congratulations to our champions Anders Movist & Loretta Rice as they defeated Tom & Charmaine MacKenzie in the final show down. Prepare your backhand for our First Annual Turkey Tennis Event scheduled for Saturday, November 10th.
The Labor Day tennis round robin begins promptly at 9 AM hosted by Joel Alsobrook.
*All ages and skill levels are encouraged.
*There will be two sign up sheets available.
*9 AM – The first 16 people to sign up on the sign up sheet play for one hour. The top four point winners advance to finals.
*10 AM – The next 16 players to sign up on the sign up sheet play for one hour. The top four point winners advance to finals.
*If there are not enough players to fill the 10 AM flight, players from the 9 AM flight may opt to fill in and get a second chance at the title.
*11 AM – The top eight point winners play in a final playoff for BIG prizes and bragging rights.
*12 PM – Free play begins.

Please join us for our final pool party of the season this Monday September 3rd. River Oak will supply Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Brats, and Drinks for the party and we look forward to our members bringing the sides. Sides can include chips, vegetables, deserts or your family’s favorite dish. We will plan to eat around noon. It has been a hot fun summer and we are looking forward to seeing your face in the crowd on Monday from 11-4. Let’s close out the summer party series with the best one of the year. See you there!
Due to previously scheduled events at the pool on Saturday, we are once again rescheduling the junior activity event that was scheduled for Saturday, August 11th.
Currently, we are planning for a junior activity event on SUNDAY, AUGUST 12th. At 3:30PM we will be hosting a Ice Cream Sundae Social under the Pool Pavilion. This event is FREE for all children.
The social will include the following:
Ice Cream: At a minimum we will have Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry…maybe a surprise flavor or two.
Toppings: Chocolate Syrup, Caramel Syrup, Strawberry Syrup, Whip Cream, Cherries, Nuts, Assorted Candies, Fruits,
Drinks: We will provide selected Coca-Cola products and bottled water. (one per child)

T-shirts will need to be soaked in soda ash for one hour so, plan to soak your shirt at 12:00 and tie dye it at 1:00!
Attention men of ROSRC, want to hang out with the guys a couple times a week, eat good food(if our wives make some for us), and have some cold beverages? Have you ever thought of playing tennis on a men’s team? Tennis experience not necessary just athleticism, good looks, friendly personality and a good sense of humor, but we will actually take anyone. We need to complete the roster before July 12th so we can have a men’s C team. If your interested in having a good time, getting a few hours away from the house, and some exercise, please respond ASAP! Each player will need to register with ALTA so I can register our team. We met some great people at the July 4th event who are interested in playing but we need a minimum of 12 to form a team. We look forward to you celebrating the 4th of July with us this Wednesday. We will be grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, brats and yes we will have corn too. We still need some help with the grill and serving food, remember you can earn your workday credits by helping out while having fun. While we celebrate America together we will have a DJ spinning your favorite hits. As always, we rely on our members to bring their favorite sides, desserts, salads, fruit, and chips to compliment the main course.
