Dear ROSRC Members, As we head into “fall” season, and we wind down the pool season, we’re excited to share some final opportunities to make the most of these last few weeks. This newsletter has a handful of very important upcoming dates, and important details regarding the club. We appreciate your attention to the entirety of the newsletter and thank each of for being an essential part of our community. Items Covered: -Pool Hours -General Membership Meeting -Opening Board Positions -Labor Day Party & -Tennis Membership -Upcoming Fall Events |
POOL HOURS We would like to remind everyone that during ‘Swim at Your Own Risk’ times, the diving boards will be closed. This rule is in place for your safety and to manage our liability effectively. Please be sure to adhere to this guideline and respect the closure to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all. |
General Membership Meeting We would like to remind you that our General Membership Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 20th at 5 PM. This will be an important opportunity for us to discuss some significant updates and upcoming changes at the club. Key topics will include the Property Tax Assessment and the current financial state of the club.Your attendance and input are crucial as we navigate these important matters. We look forward to seeing you there and engaging in a productive discussion about the future of our club. After careful consideration, the board has decided to implement a virtual option for our upcoming General Membership Meeting. This will be hosted via Zoom Webinar. This virtual option will allow members who cannot attend in person to watch and listen to the meeting. Please note, however, that this will not be an interactive Zoom meeting. Members will only be able to view the proceedings; participation, including asking questions and voting, will require attendance in person. We hope this option makes it easier for more members to stay informed. We look forward to seeing you there! |
Board Position Openings Several board positions will be opening up in October. If you are interested in volunteering for a board role, please submit your name to Vicki Spratlin by September 1st, before our next board meeting. We encourage those interested in contributing to the club to consider this opportunity .Vicki Spratlin ROSRC Secretary [email protected] |
Membership The weather is warm, the pool is still open, and tennis teams are preparing for the fall season. Please let your friends and neighbors know that we are actively seeking new members to join our community. At this time of year the initial costs are lower than in the spring because of the dues proration. We pay a referral fee to members of $100 for any family you send us who join. Or you may authorize me to credit this fee to the new member to reduce their up-front costs. Ann Porter ROSRC Membership [email protected] |
