| September!! Our pool days are winding down. It was great to see you at the pool this summer! Our board will remain active throughout the year, as usual, with decisions regarding updates will be one of the many discussions to be had during the Fall/Winter. A very important GENERAL MEETING will be open to all membership on Monday, October 20th at 6 p.m. at the pool pavilion. Prior to this, you will receive a ballot to vote on new board members to fill the vacant roles. If you would like to nominate yourself or someone else, please reach out to [email protected] ASAP, as ballots will be drafted soon. Nominations MUST be in by September 30th! Thank you! Dana Carter IMPORTANT club updates! Pool closing- Our final swim day for the season will be Monday, September 29th. The closing of the pool and pool ‘check up’ will take place on September 30th, to ensure the closing date of October 1st. ROSRC board- A special note from our President, Brandy Howell, regarding the board- As the saying goes, “Many Hands Make Light Work,” and the Board of Directors has worked hard the past couple of months soliciting members to join us on the board. A number of members have shared that while they cannot commit to a board position,n they would be willing to help in some other way. All help is needed and appreciated for a club of our size. One of our goals for the upcoming year is to work hard to build strong committees to help support the board and improve the club. If you are someone who values ROSRC and has both the ideas AND SOME TIME to implement them, please consider joining a committee to help. We have had a number of members express interest in helping with Social, Jr. Activities, Buildings & Grounds, and Pool. If this is you – PLEASE attend the October General Membership meeting and sign up for a committee position. Have you ever considered serving on the ROSRC Board? Please let us know!! [email protected] Treasurer/ Ann Porter- Work Day Refunds: We have arrived at that time of year. If you paid your work day assessment and completed your 4 hours of service to the club, you may request a refund of your work day fee.Please request your refund by emailing [email protected].Please make your request prior to October 31, 2025. Tennis Chair/Kristen Falk- Our very own ROSRC Senior Women’s tennis team received the sportsmanship award, and were written about in Alta magazine because of this honor. Way to go!! The Labor Day Tennis Round Robin was another fun event, and the weather was perfect. The winners are Austin Fowler and Ann Porter. The runners-up are Liz Summers and Stew Routon.  |
