A very brief newsletter with two key (important!) components- Dues information and swim team manager needed!!

It is time to submit your membership dues for the upcoming year. The first payment required is $350, which is due on March 1st. This payment consists of half the annual membership dues ($300) and a $50 workday assessment fee.
Payment Methods
· Check: Checks should be made payable to ROSRC for $350.00 if you are paying for half of the year, or $650.00 if you choose to pay the full annual dues up front. Please include “dues” in the memo field of your check. Mail your payment to:

· PayPal: To pay via PayPal, visit the club’s PayPal page and use the provided payment link. Please note that PayPal imposes a service fee. If you are paying half your membership dues through PayPal, you must pay $365. For the full annual dues, the total payment is $678. If you pay the remaining balance using PayPal, the required amount is $315, including the service fee.
Payment Deadlines and Refunds
The remaining balance of your membership dues must be paid in full before June 1, 2026. If you fulfill your workday credits, you will receive a refund of the $50 workday assessment.
RO Swim Team Seeking New Team Manager
As spring is just around the corner, our swim team has begun working hard towards officially “getting started” so we can be ready for Gwinnett County’s summer swim league. For the past two summers, Cyd Brown has done a wonderful job of managing our team; however, life has other plans for her this year and she will not be returning.
With this news, I appeal to the members that have children on the team or have had children on the team in the past to please consider stepping up to lead the team this year. A college age young adult could also be a great fit. I am happy to discuss what the job entails and more details for those interested. Ideally, a committee of parents could join together to help and support one another to reduce the burden on any one person.
Without a volunteer to fill the role, River Oak will not have a team this year.
Kristen Falk/Tennis Chair-
The ROSRC Senior Day Women’s tennis team is looking for additional players to join their team. The age limit for this league is 55 and older, and the matches are on Tuesday mornings. The team plays through Alta–dues are $30/year.

Bathroom Renovation Committee
The board is currently seeking members interested in participating on a committee to organize, manage, and execute the bathroom updates. The changes to the restrooms will consist primarily of changes to the floors (proper sloping towards drains), new plumbing fixtures, paint, and other cosmetic changes. This will not be a full on renovation of the bathrooms nor will any fixtures or plumbing be moving. We will be utilizing the funds raised during the summer 2024 fundraising drive.
Ideal candidates for the committee would possess all/some of the following:
– Organized and willing to take on the project/manage the project and report back to board
– Ability to stay within project budget
– Background in building, remodeling, plumbing, or electrical
– Ability to work well with trades/manage
– Close proximity to the facility and amble free time to be on site when needed
– Cooperates well with others on committee and willing to answer questions from membership
