Back To School Revised Pool Hours

Revised pool hours.

August 7 – September 1

Monday – Friday

Swim at your own risk until 4pm

No lifeguards will be on duty until 4pm

No use of diving board until 4pm while no lifeguards are on duty.

An adult 17 or older must accompany all young members

Normal hours with lifeguards will be on Friday, Saturday & Sunday

After our Labor Day party the pool will remain open for swim at your own risk with no lifeguards.

ROSRC: July 2017 Dues Notice

Dear Members,

 

If you have already paid your dues in full, thank you and please disregard this message.

In accordance with Article VIII, Section 2, the Board of Directors set the dues for the current semi-annual billing period at $250. Payment is due by July 1, 2017. Furthermore, dues not paid in full by July 31, 2017, will be charged a 10% ($25) per month late penalty and all rights and privileges will be suspended until dues are paid in full.

If you still owe your 2016 Work Day fee, please include an additional $50.  Please make the checks for dues payments out to: River Oak Swim and Racquet Club or ROSRC.

ROSRC: NO SMOKING Reminder and Diving Board Update

ROSRC is a non-smoking facility.  Smoking is only permitted in the grilling area in the island in the parking lot.  Your guests are your responsibility.  Make sure they know the rules and that smoking is not allowed in the pool area, pavilion, bathrooms, playground, wheelchair ramp, etc.
 New signs will be up soon.
The lower diving board will be back up tomorrow!  The high dive is awaiting inspection and should return soon.  As always, diving board use is only allowed while lifeguards are present.

It is the responsibility of ALL members (not just the lifeguards and board) to help enforce the rules.

Pool Reminders and Upcoming Dates

As of May 1st, the pool is now open for members in good financial standing with the club*. Lifeguards will not be present until May 24th.  Until then, it’s swim at your own risk.  The diving boards will remain closed until May 24th.  Please see attached rules and expectations.
Upcoming Dates:
May 24th — School’s Out for Summer Party 5-8 popsicles and concessions
May 29th — Memorial Day Round Robin (9:00 am), Pig Roast, and Pool Party

Members and their guests need to bring a dish to share with 10.  Last names beginning with letters A-M please bring a side dish, N-Z a dessert.
June 8th — General Membership Meeting 7:30 pm in the Pavilion

ROSRC Memorial Day BBQ and Tennis Round Robin

It’s time to celebrate our American heroes while having great fun in the sun!

Come celebrate Memorial Day with your friends and neighbors
while enjoying our beautiful pool, cold drinks, and great food!

Drinks, hotdogs, and chips will be provided. Participating members are required to bring a side dish able to feed 10. Last names beginning with letters A-M please bring a side dish, N-Z a dessert.

ROSRC: Help Wanted!!

We are looking to fill the following ROSRC board positions:

1) Building and Grounds Chairperson — Responsible for the supervision of the building and grounds, improvement and maintenance of the buildings, recreational area, operating equipment and grounds. (Will receive work day credit)
2) Co-Membership Chair – Responsible for helping recruit new members, processing new member applications, and providing tours for prospective members.
(Will receive work day credit)
3) Pavilion Coordinator – This person is responsible for assisting the Pool Chairperson with reservations of the pavilion and pool, collect rental deposit, and ensure enforcement of rules.
(Will receive work day credit)
You may nominate yourself or an other ROSRC members you think would contribute to the club in these capacities.

ROSRC Spring Tennis Registration and Tennis Court Info

ALTA spring tennis teams are now forming.  We have 3 spring teams looking for new members.  Please contact the team captains listed below if you are interested in playing.  Spring rosters are due by 1/23/17.  Remember, you must first register with ALTA before being added to the roster.
Please remember to turn off the court lights after playing at night.  The new tennis court gate code is 0606.  ROSRC members use yourcourts.com to reserve the tennis courts.  If you do not have a YourCourts account, please contact Mary Koerner at [email protected] to get setup.
