Memorial Day Cookout!

Believe it or not it is that time already! Make plans to celebrate Memorial Day at River Oak Swim and Racquet Club, Monday May 27th. The festivities kick-off at 11:00 with our annual Pig Roast and cookout.  Food will be served around noon. We will have a DJ from 12:00-4:00pm to liven things up.  Sign-up sheets are at the pool now for those looking forward to roasting the pig and for those who like to help set up, clean up, or serve food. Remember that volunteers earn a workday credit.   As always we look forward to our members bringing a side item or desert.  Meat and drinks will be provided.

Volunteer sign up sheets are located in the pool sign in binder on the table inside the front gate to the left.

Make sure you take time this week to clean out your swim bags, pull out your swim suites, get sun tan lotion, and blow- up the pool toys!

There will be a Tennis Round Robin starting a 9am. The event is open to all ages and skill levels and will be a Doubles Format.

Back To School Bash Rescheduled!

Due to previously scheduled events at the pool on Saturday, we are once again rescheduling the junior activity event that was scheduled for Saturday, August 11th.

Currently, we are planning for a junior activity event on SUNDAY, AUGUST 12th.  At 3:30PM we will be hosting a Ice Cream Sundae Social under the Pool Pavilion.  This event is FREE for all children.

The social will include the following:

              Ice Cream:  At a minimum we will have Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry…maybe a surprise flavor or two.

              Toppings: Chocolate Syrup, Caramel Syrup, Strawberry Syrup, Whip Cream, Cherries, Nuts, Assorted Candies, Fruits,

               Drinks:  We will provide selected Coca-Cola products and bottled water.  (one per child)

The Pool Is Open!!!

The River Oak Swim and Racquet Club Pool opened today for the summer swim season and is open to members and registered guests. Life Guards will be on duty and the diving boards will be reattached when the local schools begin summer break. In the mean time swim at your own risk. See you at the pool!
